PCSO Clancy and PC Jakins from our Safer Neighbourhood Team went over to Highfields this afternoon to talk to 6th form students who wanted to know more about the roles within Derbyshire Constabulary.

Honest conversations – nope its not all about driving a Police car really fast! Shift patterns, pay, qualifications, the opportunity to gain a degree whilst getting paid, the best route into front line policing and the difference between being a PCSO and a Police Officer were discussed.
