Appeal after cyclist injured in reported road rage incident in Derby street

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a reported road rage incident that left a cyclist with serious injuries. 

The incident occurred in Holbrook Road, Derby, at 11.20am on Wednesday 15 June and was reported to have involved a cyclist being assaulted by the driver of a dark coloured BMW leaving him with serious injuries to his shoulder. 

The driver of the BMW was described as a man with short hair and a beard who was wearing a white t-shirt, and dark trousers. 

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnesses the incident – in particular anyone with any dashcam footage of the incident that captured the incident or the moments before or after it took place.
