Attention all residents and commuters in and around Ashbourne Roads

Derbyshire Police, Ashbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team is issuing a critical warning: areas around Ashbourne Roads are still flooded, and vehicles are still getting stranded. It's not just about the inconvenience, but also the immense strain it puts on our resources to rescue theses vehicle and their drivers. Moreover, the damage caused to the vehicle is significant.

Your safety is our top priority, if you encounter a flooded road, take the extra time to find an alternative route. It's not worth the risk to attempt to cross. Your safety and the cost of repairing your vehicle far outweigh anytime saved by risking it.

Let's work together to keep everyone safe and avoid unnecessary emergencies. Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe out there!
