Excuses given for carrying a knife...

There are no excuses for carrying a knife, and self-defence/for your own safety is not a legal defence.

These are just a few that are heard. Have you heard friends or family say any of these...

🔪 It makes me feel safer.
🔪 Other people do it so why not?
🔪 My mate told me to carry one, so I did.
🔪 Even if I use it, it’s not like I’m going to kill someone.
🔪 People know I carry, so they aren’t going to start anything.
🔪 It’s for self-defence.
