Police Link Officer for Deaf People policing team engagement.

As part of Deaf Awareness Week, Derbyshire Constabulary's Police Link Officer for Deaf People (PLOD) team will be holding a Deaf Cafe event on Friday the 10th of May, from 10am until Midday at the Hub, at Chesterfield Football Club.

Everyone is welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity to meet the PLOD team and find out how members of the Deaf/deaf community can contact the Police if they ever need to.

Derbyshire has the highest Deaf population in the UK outside of London. We feel like these events are vital in ensuring that people know how to contact the Police.

Many thanks.
