Sunny Patrols

Good evening,

It's been a busy and warm one for Chaddesden SNT.

Today PCSO NORTHOVER-BREWER and PCSO BARTOS hosted a pop up stand in Spondon to promote awareness about Fraud. This is due to an increase in scam calls in the area where fraudsters pretend to be Police Officers and state that there had been some suspicious transactions on people's bank accounts. If you get this type of call, please hang up as Police would not know what happens with your bank accounts. We had a big crowd who attended and we were joined by Sam from Derbyshire Online Safety Team who helped with her expertise on online safety. We will be hosting some more events over the weekend so we hope to see you there. After, they patrolled around West Road during school pick up time and monitored school parking on the road. They then patrolled around Chaddesden and engaged with businesses along the way on Roosevelt Avenue.

PCSO POTTER and PCSO SHAW have been out on patrol around Chaddesden park and Washington Avenue engaging with members of the public along the way.

This evening Chaddesden SNT helped look for a missing child who was found within 25 minutes and was returned home safely.

Another good day for Chaddesden SNT.

Don't forget about the next few pop up Fraud events over the weekend.

Saturday 7th September - Outside Birds, Sitwell Street, Spondon 10:00-12:00
Sunday 8th September - Chaddesden Park near the Cafe 15:00-17:00
Monday 9th September - Oakwood Shopping Centre 10:00-12:00
