Glossop Police Cadets - Speed Awareness Event held in Hadfield on Wednesday 18th September.

Glossop SNT - Glossop Police Cadets Community Event

On Wednesday 18th of September the Glossop Cohort of Derbyshire Police Cadets, consisting of Blue and Red Sections, alongside their leaders, completed a speed awareness event on Newshaw Lane, Hadfield  - between 6.20 pm and 7.20 pm.

This event gave our cadets a great opportunity to work with and for their community - responding to an issue raised by the local community in Hadfield . A total of 281 vehicles went by the teams during the event and on this occasion none were recorded speeding.

Our public events are there to help to create skills related to Policing as part of their learning development. On this occasion such as enhancing their phonetic alphabet ability, vehicle recognition, recording of information and including working together as a team..
