A busy few days within the City Centre

Good evening everybody,

It has been a busy few days in Derby City Centre for the Safer Neighbourhood Team.  We have been doing regular patrols each day dealing with beggars, street drinkers and also the homeless seeing if they need any help or support in relation to their circumstances .We have also  conducted regular patrols at Castleward area where we have had some recent reports.

On Wednesday it was Fitness Day within the City Centre and PCSO Sneap took part in the fitness challenge 💪
We arrested a female who is a known shoplifter and  who had breached their bail by entering a location they are not allowed to in part of their conditions.  On the same afternoon we assisted with a missing female and found her safe and well.

On Thursday we have conducted patrols within the City Centre PCSO Hunt and PCSO Baldwin helped a female who had collapsed and got the medical attention she needed. We had our Mobile Police Station on St Peters Street dealing with incidents reported and offered advice to passers by who had stopped to talk to us.

Today has been a very busy day within the city.  A number of neighbourhood officers have been searching for a male where there was a concern for him around the River Gardens who later on was found safe and well.  PCSO  Saxton assisted with a young girl who was trying to find her mum who she was meeting and PCSO Saxton took her to her grandma where she was safe.

A male was also arrested for knife crime.

Lets see what the weekend brings.
