Van taken off the road

Hi folks,

First day back from rest days and after dealing with a few overweight lorries around Rosliston and Coton-in-the-Elms, there was a quick Pit stop at the Warm Hub in Coton-in-the-Elms then conducted patrols in other areas.

There was an accident earlier at Acresford therefore traffic was a little heavy through the rural villages.

Good news for Dracan village residents that this afternoon I stopped a red Transit van whereby the driver and passenger were checking skips for scrap.

Nothing reported but their vehicle was not fit to be on the road therefore van seized.

I encourage anyone who is suspicious about issues occurring in your communities then please call 101 and ask for Derbyshire Police.
