Merry Christmas everyone

Good morning everyone

Just wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We want you to enjoy your festive celebrations and make the most of the time with friends, family and colleagues - and we also want you to be safe.

  • Whilst your ‘out of office’ may be on, we’re still here. Officers will be on dedicated night time patrols across the county. Please speak to them if you have any concerns.

  • Working with partners to ensure aides such as street pastors and taxi marshals are in place. They can help direct you and ensure you're getting home safely.

  • Officers and licensed venues have been working closely together through the PubWatch scheme - this is where premises have a direct line to police support to help spot and stop any issues early on.

  • We have been raising awareness of the consequences of drink driving through our Christmas drink drive campaign. If you see a drink driver in action, call 999. If you have information about someone who habitually drink drives, please call 101 or report it online through our website either using the reporting form or the live chat function.

  •

We hope your celebrations are enjoyable and you don't need us, but if you do, we are there.

Call 101 to report a crime, or in an emergency, call 999.
