Community Engagement and Crime Prevention Awareness

Following a series of shed and garage breaks being reported just over the last few days in the Tideswell area where high value bikes have been targeted, the Safer Neighbourhood Team visited the area this morning to provide advice on securing sheds, garages and other outdoor buildings.

The team spoke with a number of people during their Community Catch up event which were held in the library and during patrols of the streets in the area where crimes had been reported.

We would ask that residents remain vigilant and always report any suspicious incidents as this may well provide information which proves crucial to the ongoing investigations by the following contact methods:

🔵 999 in an emergency
🚓 101 in a non emergency
🚔 Visit https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/ and use the report tab
🚨 Message the main Derbyshire Police Facebook Page
