School inputs at Marsh Lane, Ridgeway and Renishaw!

Over the past two days, PC Kendellen and PCSO Rawson have been busy engaging with local schools. Here's a snapshot of their work.

Tuesday Morning : Marsh Lane Primary School

·         KS2 Talk: Discussed the importance of staying safe in group chats and what to do if they have any concerns.

·         Year 1 Crime Scene Investigation: Year 1 investigated a report that Goldilocks had stolen some porridge! The children created a crime scene and collated evidence to identify Goldilocks and with their prompt and effective investigation, PC Kendellen was able to locate and "arrest" Goldilocks and take her into "custody."

 Tuesday Afternoon: Ridgeway Primary School

·         KS1 & KS2 Anti-Bullying Session: Educated and discussed with the class what to do if they are being bullied and how to prevent bullying.

Wednesday Afternoon : Renishaw Primary School

·         Year 5 & Year 6 Online Safety Talk: Discussed the importance of staying safe online and in group chats.

These interactions between Police and Children are crucial for building trust, promoting safety, preventing crime, encouraging good decision-making, and breaking down stereotypes.
