Parking

Parking… it’s a hot topic that regularly comes up in Derbyshire Talking surveys and on our comments section on our Facebook pages.

As always this continues to be a priority for the team due to the nature of the area where we work, with large numbers of visitors that come to enjoy the Dales and Peak District. We continue to work with partners to try and resolve these issues where we can although the council are the lead agency and deal with most parking issues.

We are in contact with the councils Civil Parking Enforcement officers who are issuing many tickets and do patrol areas of the Derbyshire Dales on a regular basis, but we are encouraging the public to please report to Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190 or email - contact.centre@derbyshire.gov.uk to make them aware of any issues or locations.
