Please be considerate when parking your vehicle especially around schools.

Parking your Vehicle.

Police can remove your unattended vehicle if you cause an obstruction, and Civil Enforcement Officers can issue you with a penalty charge notice for stopping in a restricted area, either blocking a driveway or a path even for a short amount of time.
As you will know pavements are for people and help keep pedestrians safe, if you park on them you are at risk of prosecution or your vehicle being towed away.

Do Not:-
Stop or park near a school entrance and keep off school KEEP CLEAR markings.
Double park to pick up or drop off children.
Park in a positions that buses or emergency services or other commercial vehicles are unable to pass
Block a pavement - PLEASE allow at least a 'double buggy' width and think about mobility scooters which may need to be used.
Park where a bus stop is where there are road markings or bus bays.
Consider residents who need access to their driveways or if there is resident only parking areas.
Please consider partially sighted / blind people and the elderly, they should not be expected to step into the road due to inconsiderate parking.
