Speaking to Residents

Good Evening.

Last year we had received several reports around the Keldholme Lane area of Alvaston,  regarding drug activity ,youths congregating, late  night noise and making residents feeling unsafe in their own area. Because of the information that was received from local residents and Stakeholders it was decided that patrols would be increased in the area, to give reassurance to members of the public, residents and local businesses.

Since the increased patrols around the area the Alvaston SNT team carried out some Derbyshire Talk Surveys to which this  involves asking local residents and Stakeholders a number of  questions about the area in general. The team was pleased to hear that since the heightened Police presence the problems had stopped and this was also shown on the number of incidents that were recorded on our system.

Always pass information on to the Police and other agencies and we will as a Team try to resolve any issues.

Thanks you .
