Over the past few days, our officers have been out and about, #Engaging with the #Community.

👮‍♂️ Patrols continue around Kingsway Retail Park following reports of #ShopThefts and issues with nuisance #Beggars and #RoughSleepers. Begging in a public place is an offence, and we take it seriously. We are working with our external partners to address this issue. 🛴 Additionally, officers are continuing to #Seize #EScooters being ridden in public spaces. While out cycling, officers stopped an individual riding an e-scooter on the road, and it was seized under Section 165A of the Road Traffic Act. Shortly after, another e-scooter with two people on it, including a child, was also stopped, and seized.

🚫 Please remember that using e-scooters on roads, pavements, parks, and shopping centre car parks is illegal. If caught, you could lose your e-scooter.
