Woman given court order over unprovoked attack on two people in Derby

A woman has been punished with a court order over an unprovoked attack on two people in Derby.

Chantelle Rouse punched a man and woman at a property where they were all living in Normanton Road in the early hours of Wednesday 4 September 2024.

She made unfounded accusations and punched both to the face, causing one of the victims to fall to the floor and bang her head.

The 33-year-old, of no fixed abode, admitted two counts of assault during an appearance at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 11 February.

Rouse was given a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement.
