Some important and useful information that could help save a life....

If you have ever had to make an emergency call for the Police, Fire and Ambulance service, they'll need to know your exact location in order to help.

We often see incidents whereby people are unsure of their exact location and this can delay help getting to where it's needed.

❗What3Words is a free app and it enables the caller and the emergency services to quickly pinpoint where they are and where an incident is taking place.

As the entire what3words grid is fixed, the 3 word address for a particular location will never change even if buildings or streets are redeveloped. 3 word addresses are unique, unlike street names which are often duplicated, and they are easier to communicate and share with others.

We have recently been into Model Village Primary School and taught our Mini Police class all about this valuable FREE app.

If you travel into an area that you're unfamiliar with and you need to make a 999 call for help, this app pinpoints your exact location so that emergency services can find you.
Please let friends and family know. One day, you might need to use it.
