Bike Marking event - Crime prevention

Resident

Dronfield SNT will be holding further bike marking events during the month of March. Its a great time to consider attending one of these events as the weather improves and people send more time out in the fresh air on bikes and e-bikes etc.

Bike Register is a scheme used in conjunction with bike marking event. Bike marking primarily acts as a visible deterrent to would-be thieves, secondly it makes it easier for the bike to be found and returned to its rightful owner and help to secure a successful prosecution against thieves. BikeChecker is a free service for people purchasing a second-hand bike, which allows you to check that the bike is not listed as stolen on the BikeRegister database (www.bikeregister.com). The site also allows you to register your bike and in conjunction with one of our bike marking kits, this is a great way to make your bike less desirable for thieves.

Events for this month,

Fri 7th March – 1pm-2.30pm 2025

Sat 22nd March – 10am – 12noon 2025

Both will be held at Farwater lane car park Dronfield.
