Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team during the morning spent some time at Nicholson court in Tideswell at the residents Coffee Morning and then in the afternoon were in Bakewell town centre providing crime prevention literature and advice to passers-by plus speaking with businesses during patrols of the town centre.
 Our visits to community events and by holding them ourselves within communities gives members of the community an opportunity to speak with officers about concerns, discuss crime prevention advice and complete Derbyshire Talking surveys plus provides presence in those communities’ we police.
