Successful Test Purchase Operation in Swadlincote

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a test purchase operation in Swadlincote, carried out by licensing officers from South Derbyshire District Council, Police Alcohol Licensing officers and Police cadets.

This initiative aimed to ensure compliance with licensing laws and promote responsible alcohol sales.

During the operation, test purchases were conducted at various on and off licence premises across the Swadlincote area.

The collaborative effort of our dedicated team resulted in a thorough assessment of the adherence to legal requirements by these establishments.

The operation not only highlighted the commitment of local authorities and police to maintaining public safety but also served as a valuable training experience for the police cadets involved. Their participation was instrumental in the success of the operation, demonstrating the importance of community engagement in upholding licensing standards.

We extend our gratitude to all involved for their hard work and dedication. Together, we continue to strive for a safer and more responsible community.
