Today's Patrols

Good evening,

Today has been a busy shift for Chaddesden SNT.

This morning, PCSO NORTHOVER-BREWER and PCSO WAITES have been conducting foot patrols around the Chaddesden area, completing CCTV enquiries.  Shortly after this, they both attended a concern for a male who had a medical episode nearby. They were joined by PC ATTERBY and PCSO HICKMAN who assisted getting this male medical attention and he was swiftly taken to hospital by our colleagues from the ambulance service.

Following this incident, PC ATTERBY, PCSO WAITES and PCSO HICKMAN patrolled the Spondon area and a member of the community asked if their child could look inside the police vehicle. He was very happy and got to see all the blue lights and sirens.

PCSO NORTHOVER-BREWER also conducted foot patrols around Spondon and spoken to some local residents about the concerns for speeding traffic in the area. Afterwards she walked back towards Chaddesden and engaged with local businesses and members of the public along the way.

PC NORTH attended a report of a speeding motorbike in the area and conducted intelligence checks in relation to this.

Finally, to finish the shift, PC ATTERBY and PCSO HICKMAN assisted a Road Policing Unit with an alleged drink driver in the area after a report from a member of the public. This male was swiftly detained by the units however; the male passed the roadside breath test and was allowed to continue on his journey.

Until next time, have a good evening.
