'Junior Darts Day' - Tournament at The Place, Community Hub. Glossopdale School

Glossop SNT - Youth Provision/Youth Engagement

PCSO 4415 Buller from Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) had been asked to award the prizes at the ‘Junior Darts Day’ Tournament, which was held at The Place, Community Hub at Glossopdale School, Newshaw Lane, Hadfield this afternoon, Wednesday 16th April

Those young people who took part in today’s event and holiday activities certainly showed some fantastic skills on the dart board for the round robin competition, it was good to engage with the young people taking part and admire the skill and determination shown by all today.

Who knows we may have a future darts champion from our area? It was an honour to watch the games and to be asked to present the prizes to the winner and runners up.

There were some great prizes - consisting of darts equipment with the overall winner receiving a signed shirt by ‘Nathan Aspinall’ the well-known English professional darts player.

Well done and thank you to The Place for providing all the equipment, staff, prizes and the space for this competition.

Roll on the next one.

*Remember that the regular ‘Junior Darts Club’ resumes next week (see below pic)
