A productive day out in the community for PCSO Rawson and PC Kendellen

Today PCSO Rawson and PC Kendellen took part in a number of valuable community-focused activities.

The day began with PCSO Rawson attending the Ridgeway Sports and Social Club's coffee morning- an excellent way to engage with members of the community and foster stronger local relationships in a welcoming environment. Within the session members of the community participated in a Derbyshire alert Survey. We take these surveys to better understand the concerns, priorities and experiences of local residents.

Following this, both officers visited Spinkhill Primary School to interact with the pupils and staff. Visits like these are key to building trust with young people and encouraging positive relationships between police and the next generation.

To conclude the day, they attended a bike registration event aimed at promoting cycle safety and crime prevention. Registering bikes helps deter theft and ensures a greater chance of recovery should a bike be lost or stolen.

A productive day focused on strengthening community ties and promoting safety across the area.
