SNT Updates

Good evening!

A female has been charged and remanded over a shoplifting offence at Tesco on Nottingham Road.

As the warmer weather draws in, we thought it'd be a good time of reminding you all to keep your motorbikes secure. We regularly experience a high volume of calls in relation to theft offences of these vehicles with one already occurring this week in Chaddesden. We'd like to give you some tips on how to keep them safe and sound.

- Lock, chain and cover.
- Remove the keys.
- Fitting an alarm can be a deterrent for thieves.
- Property mark the parts.
- When at home, the best place to keep your motorcycle, moped or scooter is in your garage or shed. No shed or garage? Park in the safest place you can.

Further information can be found at https://www.met.police.uk/scootersecurity

Thanks.
