The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding community catch up events with knife amnesty bins, which gives residents the opportunity to surrender any unwanted knives, to help keep them off the streets and possibly falling into the wrong hands.

With this in mind, Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be on Oddfellow Rd Car Park in Hathersage on Friday 23rd May from 10am to 11.30am and on Granby Road, Bakewell by the old Police Station on Saturday 24th May from 2pm to 3pm.
