Community engagement - Fairfield

Fairfield neighbourhood team had the pleasure of being invited to Queens Court this afternoon to attend a VE DAY celebration with members of Fairfield Older persons group.
The group meet on Mondays, usually around 1 pm - until around 2.30 pm and have a chat with a cuppa.  They are extremely friendly and  welcoming and host not only musical afternoons as with the wonderful Julia today, but have crafts and outings too.
Today PC Lomas and PCSO Cook enjoyed the afternoon and were able to speak to some of the members, with PC Lomas showing off his dance moves on request from some of the ladies present.

Key aspects of our neighbourhood teams are Community-focused.

SNTs prioritize working directly with residents to understand and address their concerns.
Thank you to the group for their generous invitation, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
