Good evening,
Operation Sceptre is always a strong focus of ours. To add to this, officers conducted a knife sweep at South Avenue park in Spondon accompanied by local Cllr Jonathan Smale. We regularly receive reports in this area for anti-social behaviour, so this area was targeted and swept thoroughly to ensure there is no danger present to the public, and rest assured, there wasn't.
We will be continuing knife sweeps in Spondon alongside Cllr Smale in and around Spondon tomorrow, and updates will be posted.
