SCHOOL VISITS

We’re keen to talk to young people about the impact that knife crime can have and ways to support our plea to #DropTheKnife, this week we’ve been at schools in Newhall, Woodville and Gresley talking to children as part of Operation Sceptre.

Whilst it is the minority of people who choose to carry knives in Derbyshire, it can have a devastating impact, and by carrying a knife those people are also putting themselves more at risk of being hurt.

By talking to schools about the impact and answering their questions, we can educate people on the many ways #knivesshatterlives, and together we can keep knife crime out of the county.

Thank you to the children and teachers for their engagement this week!
