Local Priorities Speeding traffic / hazardous driving Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Speeding traffic / hazardous driving, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

🚗 Speed Watch 🚗

On Friday 18th July PC Nichols and PCSO George from the Gamesley Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted a speed watch.

They started on Marple Road, Charlesworth, then moved further along the road stopping at various points until reaching St Margaret's Primary School, Glossop Road.

During their time, officers were pleased to see most road users abiding to the speed limit however, there was a small minority of drivers who were stopped at the road side and given words of advice regarding their speed.
