ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) & Crime inputs with year 6 Students in New Mills, Glossop & Gamesley this week

Glossop SNT - School Engagement

PCSO Buller (Glossop Youth Engagement Team) has attended the following schools over the last 2 days.

Firstly Newtown Primary and Thornsett Primary schools in New Mills yesterday, Monday 21st July.

And then today, Tuesday 22nd July he attended St Georges C of E Primary School , New Mills this morning - which was then followed by attending All Saints CV Academy Old Glossop, this input was combined with pupils from St Margarets CV Academy, Gamelsley. at The Old Glossop site.

The visits were to complete an input on ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) and Crime with all year 6 studnets at each of the 5 schools visited. We discussed with the each group - What is a crime? and What is ASB? - then we talked about 'Good Choices and Bad Choices, this included explaining the age of criminal responsibility, which is 10.

As always the team appreciated the wonderful engagement by the young people and there were some great questions from the students at each school too.

Thank you to each of the headteachers and staff involved at the schools - for their co-operation and in allowing these inputs to take place yesterday and today.
