Youth Matters New Mills 'Summer Famfest' - Engagement Event - Wednesday 6th August

PCSO Buller from the Glossop YET attended the Youth Centre, Longlands Road, New Mills this afternoon, Wednesday 6th August. Where Youth Matters New Mills are hosting its free Summer FAMFEST, an enriching and complimentary event for children and young people aged 5 to 16 years. Summer Famfest started on July 28th and will be concluding on August 14th.

Young people who attend can look forward to a wide range of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, face painting (which has proven to be particularly popular), dressing up, and indoor sports such as tennis, basketball, and cricket. Additionally, there will be ample opportunities for outdoor recreation in the rear yard, including the intriguing game of Zombie Dodgeball.

Food and beverages are provided, along with designated time for rest and relaxation.

Well done to the staff and volunteers involved in creating these wonderful events for youngsters in the New Mills area and for providing such an exciting summer experience for all the young people who attend these events.
