Follow up to road closures

Good morning,

Welcome to new users of Derbyshire Alert. 

Following an earlier Road Traffic Accident at 7.45hrs this morning on Coalpit Lane, near to Coton-in-the-Elms, the road is now passable.

Only slight injuries.

Please remember that many of these rural roads in South Derbyshire are very narrow and therefore we have many farmers working and travelling through these narrow lanes. 

We also have Bloodstock traffic driving through the country villages, therefore please reduce your speed.
