We have recently seen a surge in attempted theft and theft of motorbikes, mopeds and scooters. These thefts are often of an opportunistic nature with thieves riding around looking for parked, insecure bikes to target. It only takes seconds for an unsecured bike to be taken so please remember to secure your bike every time you leave it..... Even if only for a few minutes.

To keep your motorbike or moped safe remember:-

🎥 Get CCTV or a ring doorbell installed.

🚫 Use a disc lock to help secure the front brake disc to physically stop it from being wheeled away.

🚨 Fitting an alarm can be a deterrent to thieves.

🔒 Never rely on just using a steering lock to secure your bike.

🛖 Keep your motorbike or scooter locked in your garage or shed - alarm them  too!
