🏏 Police vs Kids... Guess Who Won?😅 👮🏼

We had an absolute blast at today’s community cricket session, joining children from deprived areas and those with disabilities for a morning filled with sunshine, smiles…and us getting fully humbled by some seriously talented young cricketers!

At one point, one of the kids even stepped up to bat wearing some of our police kit – hat, stab vest and carriers, the works. Safe to say, they looked far more tactical and far more coordinated than a few of our officers do on a good day. We’re pretty sure they hit the ball harder because of it.  👮🏼 🏏

Beyond the laughs and flying cricket balls, events like this mean a lot. They help us break down barriers, build trust, and show young people that we’re here to support them both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank-you to everyone involved for such a fun, energetic day. A rematch is definitely on the cards – though we might need to borrow some of that kid’s techniques first… 😉
