Community Voice

At Derbyshire Constabulary we care about the experiences and voice of our communities. We want to understand the issues that affect you. We have created a survey called 'Community Voice' which is always available and allows you to let us know about any issues in your communities that affect you. All feedback is useful to us and helps us to understand what our community needs. If you join our messaging system to receive our alerts, we can let you know what we have done about the issues raised via the survey and keep you up to date with news about your community. You can join as a member on the home page of this site. Alternatively, you can complete the survey, on the link below, without becoming a member.
The information collated by the survey is used by our Safer Neighbourhood Teams to set priorities for each policing area, on a quarterly basis. It enables us to understand the top priority issues so that we can put actions in place to resolve them. We work closely with colleagues from the local council, volunteers - such as Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators and Community Speed watch - and residents to look at how we tackle these issues together.
If you choose to join as a member of Alert, we will send you an email every 3 months to ask if you'd like to fill it in again. This will give us insight on whether we still have the same issues, if there is more work to be done or if we solved the issue with our joint approach. We can see what new issues there may be too. It may be that you don't have any issues, which is great news, either way, it helps us to plan where we deploy our resources.
Your voice can help to shape your community, so please use it to fill in our Community Voice survey.
If you'd like to receive up to date news on your area, don't forget to join as a member of Derbyshire Alert.
