During patrols this morning, officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team spent some time at community hub held within Rowsley Village Hall
By visiting the community hub, it gave an opportunity for those who visited an opportunity to speak with their local officers about concerns they have, complete surveys, ask about crime prevention or signup to Derbyshire Alert.
In the afternoon in between patrols, officers visited Rowsley CofE Primary School and spoke to the children of Reception and key stage 1 class regarding the topic of Role of Police in the community.
During the visit at the school, the children were enthusiastic about the topic discussed and asked questions throughout out my time doing the talk.
The children even got the opportunity to try on old Police hats and look round a police car
