🌟 Mini Police First Aid Session 🌟

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of spending time with our local Mini Police group, delivering a hands‑on first aid session. It was fantastic to see how enthusiastic and confident the young people were as they learned some truly important life skills.

We covered the basics—how to check for danger, call for help, put someone in the recovery position, and look after someone who might be injured. The group got properly stuck in, asked great questions, and showed real teamwork throughout.

Knowing even the basics of first aid genuinely matters. You never know when you might be the first person on the scene of an injury or emergency. Having the confidence to take those first simple steps—checking someone is safe, calling for help, or offering reassurance—can make a real difference. You don’t need advanced training; sometimes the basics are enough to protect someone until further help arrives.

Sessions like this remind me how valuable early education is in building safer, more resilient communities. And if that Mini Police Session is anything to go by, the next generation is already well on the way.
