Keeping Animals in vehicles in Warm weather.

Dear All 

As temperatures rise, we are reminding the public Never To leave animals in vehicles , even for a short time. 

On a warm day, the tempreture inside a car can soar within  miniutes - putting your pet at serious risk of heatstroke, dehydration, and even death. Opening a window slightly or parking in the shade does not keep a vehicle cool enough. 

If you cannot take your animal with you, please leave them  safely  at home. 

Always ensure they have access to fresh water and a cool enviroment. 

If you see a animal in distress inside a vehicle contact the Police immediately 

Lets work together to keep our animals safe this summer 

If in doubt, dont leave them in the car.
